In this workshop, Swamiji will teach us the practice of Swakriya Yoga, in which we cultivate the unity awareness so foundational to the teachings of Anandamayi Ma. We will learn the practices of mantra, visualization, asanas, and meditation that constitute this new form of yoga which was received by Swamiji as an inspiration from Ma. For those who took this workshop with Swamiji last year, this will be an opportunity to deepen your practice. For those of you who are new to Swakriya Yoga, all beginners are welcome. Swakriya Yoga is a gentle, contemplative practice that focuses on our inner experience as we assume simple yoga postures. If you have physical limitations, Swamiji will help you to benefit from these gentle postures while respecting the limits of your body. Swamiji’s joy and enthusiasm is contagious and we will all be inspired by these teachings.
Donation $50, including lunch. All proceeds benefit Children of Ma – a 501(c)(3) foundation supporting Swamiji’s work in India,
Join Swamiji for a wonderful afternoon of chants and teachings! This will be a more intimate setting… Swamiji and one drummer, with all of us around them. The afternoon will include chanting and meditation, and Swamiji will share many of Ma’s teachings.
No charge for this satsang, but donations will be gratefully accepted for Children of Ma. Children of Ma is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission includes supporting Swamiji’s work with poor children in India.
